This horrific ruling should make very clear to every woman in this country that when ANY Republican is elected to ANY office, NO WOMAN IS SAFE. Republicans are sadistic, twisted, hollowed-out, woman-hating freaks acting out their sickness on a national scale. wapo.st/4adJrce

@stevesilberman

Remind me again when was the last time a democrat proposed an amendment to protect women's healthcare and their right to an abortion? As far as I know (and some quick googling) they have not even proposed one, at least not that I can find.

That would have been the correct solution, Row v Wade was never the place to decide that, law is.

Both sides like to talk but the right actually caries out their messed up stance, the left just alks and talks but refuses to solve problems because if they provided real solutions they wouldnt have a way to use fear to get themselves elected anymore.

@freemo OK, I'll remind you: Just last month, Ohio voters passed a Dem-sponsored constitutional amendment to ensure access to abortion and other forms of reproductive health care. But I get it, you're poorly informed and don't realize you're parroting right-wing messaging. Best of luck.

@stevesilberman

That is not what i asked. I asked about the federal constitution. You are talki g about state level politics, not what i asked.

@freemo @stevesilberman No Dr. Freemo, you asked "Remind me again when was the last time a democrat proposed an amendment to protect women's healthcare and their right to an abortion?" Steve answered your question. It appears that, when you realized you were wrong, you moved the goalposts.

@eleland

Yes I did say that, which clearly was a statement about the federal constitution as anyone with a bit of common sense would be able to see.

That said even if they genuinely thought I meant any addition to any document anywhere (the more general definition of an amendment) it is now made **explicit** that is not what I meant. So I still await an answer.

@stevesilberman

@freemo @stevesilberman Steve read your words accurately, and posted a kind and thoughtful answer directly addressing your question. That is “common sense” here. Nobody has been put on this planet to serve your shifting needs.

@eleland

Why are you still talking about this? It was stated in no uncertain terms after the miscommunication what was meant, so now we all know what I intended to ask was not answered... so why are you wasting time on this at all? Either answer the question or dont, I already know the answer, they have **never** put forward a federal constitutional amendment, despite there being quite a few proposed to outlaw abortion.

@stevesilberman

@freemo @stevesilberman It interests me why people, when confronted with their error, move the goalposts, blame-shift then try to walk away with dismissive statements about being over it. Thank you for the dialogue, have a nice day.

@eleland

Jesus fucking christ your a toxic human being... someone misunderstanding the question is **not** moving the goal post... even if it was my fault for not being clear enough its still a miss communication not a moving of goal posts... please waste someone elses time with this nonsense toxic crap
