Its not about defending capitaliam, though i absokutely would defend free market teade. Ita about the absursity of thinking billionairs is a symptom.exclusive to capitalism whennit very obviously is not limited to capitalism.
@freemo Nobody ever said that only capitalism produces billionaires. You're setting up a strawman.
And capitalism IS concentrating vast amounts of wealth into a small percentage. Economic inequality in the U.S. UNDER A DEREGULATED MARKET is the worse it has been.
Finally, socialism and communism are not synonymous. Don't play the game of starting the convo with some claim about socialism and then suddenly change the topic in midstream to communism.
Coolmso you agree with what i said and it was never in question. Glad we can have an amicle conversation that wasnt remotely toxic then. Hope to see you around.
@freemo I don't agree with you in the slightest. Asking what billionaires have to do with capitalism and acting as though capitalism isn't a massive problem is immediately suspect.
Cool. Thanks for sharing your thoughts.
@freemo Spare me the link. I'm aware that Stalin is counted among the wealthiest people. But unlike you I'm aware that this is a qualified statement.
But you are plainly trying to make a contrarian argument here to defend capitalism for some bizarre reason. "What do billionaires have to do with capitalism" is a transparently obtuse question.
