@matrix The issue is not DEI (having a diverse team) it is affirmitive action (indicating you will explicitly hire to ensure your staff has a demographic reflecting the general population)... Diversity int he workplace **absolutely** enhances the quality of the work by allowing for diverse cultures to provide different view points. The problem only arises when you hire specifically to get a particular demographic and that hiring takes priority over qualifications.
