So 'Small is beautiful' yes but with more of a precise word like 'careful' it's a bit a bit more measurable.

So careful could be be better imagined as:

● portable / transportable
● scaled down
● practical
● individually manageable
● low consumption low hoarding
● hand assisted almost only

Overall need
Less ● people,
Less ● tools,
Less ● wrong can happen / more adjust-as-you go or "on-the-fly"
● Smaller mistakes
Less ●waste and ●risks a lot less.
