One of the themes of Steven Zaillian’s Ripley, is steps. Lots of steps. The town’s postmaster repeatedly directs him to go “Su, su, su” – up, up, up.
I wanted to find a picture of Andrew Scott climbing the steps towards the light in Atrani but maybe this one is more apt.
