Let’s create the next political revolution. 🌍

Welcome! You are invited to join a meeting: Free as a Bird— Roger Hallam Monthly Prison Talk. After registering, you will receive a confirmation email about joining the meeting.

A real revolution brings together inner resilience with an outer commitment to social transformation—the inner and outer work are two sides of the same coin. They need each other. This is what Revolution in the 21st Century means if it is not only to replicate the same old stories. So, my being in prison is not a moment to pause, feel down, or indulge in comforting self-pity. It is time to double down on the plan. We have a world to change; we must have the ultimate ambition or settle for no ambition. We must start tomorrow, work out the next week, and build from there. We need to work together in teams—we are not alone; we exist for each other. So, I will not be talking about the birds and the skies in this talk. I will discuss creating the new global movement and how we can concretely play a pivotal role in service to this movement—a support space, a training hub, a networking node to inspire, educate, build up the frontlines, and start new ones. What we are going to do is what all successful organisations have done for hundreds of years. We will be organised. We now have a solid central team, which always gets you halfway to success, and we have some money. We are starting working groups for various projects. We will have regional groups worldwide, which will create more groups. They will have lists of things to do. We will have stages of development. We will hand out badges. The ribbon is being ordered per Napoleon's instructions - "A soldier will fight long and hard for a bit of coloured ribbon. Last but not least, we won't take it all too seriously. As I say, we don't want to get carried away. Death comes for us all. It brings us down to earth.
