We've got two grandchildren coming today for today & tomorrow while mum & dad go for a romantic hotel stay 🤑
I can't say that we are looking forward to them being here, we just haven't got the energy for little people at the moment.
It'll be fine.
Also today our daughter is meeting with her middle daughter for the first time in about 6 years.
Middle daughter was prevented from communicating with her mother by bastard-ex-husband, but she's just turned 18 and he's thrown her out (and told her to buy her own suitcase and train ticket)!
I hope the meeting goes tolerably well.
@MikeFromLFE @helenclayton Yeah I'm with Helen, would like to hear how new small adults meet as sometimes it's hard enough with adults, competition etc...
Leaving proven bad people is good, even though bumpy leaving like that.
Don't know why we can't give things to each other and talk about all the jealousy or whatever that is natural in us, instead we use it for accelerating other stuff / manipulation and even increasing house prices cutting out each gen... as the way of life! I'm different I guess - how about you both?
