Trying out something new today. Ever since I switched to Linux from Mac OSX I've used 4–5 virtual desktops in a line that I organize everything on, basically copying how Mac did virtual desktops when I switched. But last night I got on my fez and made my virtual desktops **2D**. So now I have my main row of four desktops like before, but I can go up or down from it and have two additional rows of four. Already loving it, don't have to alt-tab at all with my programs reorganized
@nytpu I wonder how you made your virtual desktops 2D?
@fulkrum It's a feature KDE supports, dunno about any other DE. But in System Settings → Workspace Behavior → Virtual Desktops you can add more virtual desktops and divide them into more rows
@fulkrum I also went into System Settings → Keyboard → KWin and bound keys to navigate them, I already had Ctrl + Alt + Left/Right to move between them so I just bound Ctrl + Alt + Up and Ctrl + Alt + Down too. And Ctrl + Cmd + Alt + Arrows to move already open windows between desktops
@nytpu Ah I see, you installed KDE on macOS, right?
@fulkrum No, I'm running Linux now. I just previously had my virtual desktops arranged to emulate how MacOS did
