Retention.
I'm not sure this is a really useful concept in teaching.

@ferrous @garyackerman yes, indeed - definitely important.
@garyackerman hard to do much more if learners aren't retaining what they're learning, not the end point but a critical building block
@garyackerman as in knowledge or retention of students?
