Adults are trying to improve schools by looking towards their past; “what worked for me will work for them,” is the misguided reasoning.
@garyackerman they could try thinking like engineers.
- make myriad syllabus variations
- test each one in different schools
- iterate on successful models
- Chaos testing! Give out 1000 random questions to each kid. Ensure 'studying for the exam' is impossible.
