As a student, I attended a high school that had four computers available for students (my classmates’ recollections confirm my memories). I was thoroughly unimpressed with the devices.
@garyackerman Heh. As a student, I attended high school before computers were invented.
@garyackerman We got our first computers for students in roughly 1976 or so, Commodore PETs.
We didn't even have a way to save whatever we typed, we just had to write our programs down on paper, and retype them each time.
I spent hours doing exactly that.
