Sure, but in the time it takes to change, thea advances may become dangerous.

@garyackerman I don't know if change is slower than advancement. I'd argue we go back and forth quite a lot on things, but we do follow a slow steady curve of advancement over longer time, so it may be the other way around.. but I guess it depends on how you see those words. It definitely takes a while for humans to adapt to something new, cars have been around for 1.5 century and they still feel recent and immature in some ways.
