The demarcation problem has not found an adequate solution. Is something like creationism simply "lousy science" rather than "unscientific"? The distinction remains difficult.
@garyackerman there's probably some subset of ID that's lousy science, sure but there really *are* unscientific tendencies in creationism generally. Ie a perfect definition doesn't need to exist in order to see pure crankery as such.
