The little Suzuki is gone and my truck is back. I got used to that little car, it’s amazing these cars used to cost under £7000 new! There’s not a lot of car, and zero luxuries but in terms of value there are no cars like these anymore 😞

@gpowerf I've always liked small cars, they're just generally more fun! I had a Fiat Seicento some years ago and in spite of its low power and unreliability (though I enjoyed working on it and learnt a lot about cars back then) it was actually one of my favourite cars to have owned.

I'm on a Renault Zoe now. I bought one as an experiment in 2016. I thought I should "put my money where my mouth is" as I kept encouraging my colleagues to get an EV every time they mentioned getting a new car! That got me hooked, but the slow charging speed and low range were definite drawbacks. The new one has the right combination of range (200+ miles) and charging speed to work well for me and my family.

I would have liked a Polestar 2, but the prices really ramped up last year and I just couldn't justify spending so much more money. I've reached that stage in life where the sports cars are behind (youth) and in front (retirement) of me! 😁

@petetaylor I do like the Polestars too and I really want to go EV! I can’t wait for the first mid-size 4x4 EV pickups to hit the market. Ideally Toyota or Isuzu for peace of mind and reliability reasons though 😄

@apinae bodyboarding trip a couple of weeks back. It was already too cold for a tent so we opted to rent a little cabin. Wonderful campsite and hugely affordable too compared to any hotel.
