I’ve not seen a Plymouth Prowler in so so long (I live in the UK)! Well I saw one today and they still look so good all these years later. #WeirdCarMastodon
@adamcsmith even though it doesn’t have a V8 (as it rightly should) I still have such a soft spot for them, so bold to basically sell a factory hot rod!
@gpowerf totally agree. I just remember when it came out that was the astonishing part.
@adamcsmith yeah, there was also the SSR around the same period. Which was less cool but stranger, a convertible pickup hot rod thing is quite bold thing design as a factory car.
@gpowerf there is a couple in my city. He's one of the non-Corvettes I wave at when cursing because they are so rare.
@adamcsmith I’ve seen one round my parts a few times in summer too 😄.
@gpowerf looks like it’s from the pages of a comic! 😃
Mind you, I can’t get on with cars with most of the car being the engine out in front of it 😅
@wiredfire it is minuscule there’s not a lot of car in front of you anyway 😂
This is one of mine, there’s quite a bit of car in front of me here too.
@gpowerf I’ve been driving a tiny C1 over a decade, only just moved up to a C3 this weekend. Both of them (the C1 more so) feel like they more or less end at my feet 😅
@gpowerf I can’t deny a long nose car looks the part though 😁
@wiredfire this red Isuzu is my daily, I’m used to bigger cars. I was given the little white Suzuki pictured to drive recently when I had my rear bumper replaced and I had palpitations in that little thing 😂
@wiredfire PS: FWIW I’d love a pickup with no nose so that the bed could be huge 😄
@wiredfire like everything you get used to it 😄 that tiny Suzuki I showed you petrified me the first hour or so driving it. But after a day or so I was loving that it was so small.
@gpowerf I remember being somewhat appalled that they didn't have spare tires (in part because of the very different sizes of front and rear tires) and thinking that was really foolish. Now a significant number of cars ship without spares and it's just normal.
@smellsofbikes at the time my taste in cars was totally impractical. It isn’t something that would have bothered me 😂
@gpowerf I live in FL and haven’t seen one in years
@gpowerf If they had managed to get a V8 in that it'd have been a timeless classic.
And caused many, many deaths.
