I play #HaloInfinite with gyro aiming because it is 2023. Why doesn’t every damn game natively support gyro? Why do XBox controllers not have gyro? 🤷♂️ #gaming #xbox
@gpowerf I honestly have never managed to grasp gyro aiming in shooters. How long did it take you to get used to it?
@ContraryRhombus not very long, maybe a couple of weeks for it to feel 100% natural.
Perhaps it is one of those things that isn't for everyone, but for those who it suits it feels so natural and intuitive that the idea of even playing a game without it a total no.
I prefer to play it arcade cabinet style, my setup for first person shooters is a standup desk. This gives me great freedom of movement.
@gpowerf I will certainly have to give this a go. Gives me a great excuse to get Splatoon 3 out again! I've just been seeing more and more people mentioning Gyro as well.

@gpowerf Well, I tried it on my Deck on Doom. It did not go well. But it is something I might try to practice more with when I dig out my switch pro controller.
@ContraryRhombus I took to it easy. But like everything else it requires practise 😃
@gpowerf Yeah, I think I'll get to it on Splatoon as everyone loves it on that game.
