Somehow I wound up on "Britney Spears is missing and an imposter is pretending to be her" conspiracy TikTok which was fascinating and harmless but somehow that led me to "Maui was destroyed by government space lasers" conspiracy TikTok and I want off the ride.
@rodhilton I can see why people are interested in this stuff and end up getting lost in it.
@gpowerf yeah that's what I noticed too. I found the Britney Spears stuff engaging and weirdly compelling and it was harmless and irrelevant so I kept watching it knowing that it meant nothing whether I believed it or not and now I'm being an inundated with conspiracies about Joe Biden burning Maui for Real Estate development
