I recently noticed that humble little Ford Everests have a Watt's link for the rear axle.

The car geek in me was hugely impressed. I know Ford has used it before, but I didn't expect it on the Everest. I always associate it with old-fashioned race cars like Australian V8 Supercars.

Weirdly this sort of Ford mentality is exactly why I'd lean away from an Everest over something like a Fortuner or MU-X. Isuzu and Toyota keep it simple and Ford overcomplicates :) And it isn't just suspension, but AWS systems, engines, etc...
