In the 🇵🇭PH, it was more common to take long vacations during the weeks approaching Christmas, in which kids also have long breaks.

We take the Christmas season there seriously: it takes up the whole “ber” months (September onwards), with a couple of days short break for Holloween 👻 on Nov., then Christmas resumes. 😄

I bet there are Christmas trees and lanterns around already this time. 😁

@gpowerf my recollection of the culture (mostly from childhood than recent) also make me want to visit back, but there’s probably more to it now than I remember…

Don’t move but I think it’s definitely worth a visit in Christmas season. Most people visit for the summer but it’s a different vibe there on November/December—it’s still warm (relatively), less tourists, more vibes :)
