I went on vacation for 3 weeks, and upon my return, I found that my truck had been pooed on by birds, I mean REALLY pooed on! It was a target for them.
I washed the truck and a large area at the back had been etched and it looked really bad.
I tried this hair dryer method and it worked great! The paint looks totally fine and you'd never be able to tell it was ever damaged:

That's cool! I had some bird poo damage on my 911 and it didn't come off with a wash or bug tar remover. I was horrified to think the paint might be permanently damaged, but my local detailer was able to clean it up no problem. I didn't ask how he did it.
@literatesavant Porsche paint has the advantage that it is good. Like BMW paint 😄 both awesome!
My truck is an Isuzu though, and Isuzu paint is a micron thick. It’s almost not there. Mechanically great trucks and SUVs with some of the worst paint ever on any vehicle.
