I don't normally post about politics, but this has made me angry. We can't have high speed rail, we can't have affordable rail, we can't have an NHS that's not plagued with delays for many patients, we can't have roads without potholes or enough parking, we can't have the powerstations and chargers needed to go with EVs, we can't have housing that people can afford. @gpowerf I mean, you guys keep voting for those weirdos, so... "can't have" is a stretch.

I was honestly baffled about how this one got to power without immediately triggering a general election. I get that the rules are different there, but I was expecting massive protests until they did the obvious thing instead of having yet another unelected rando run the country for years.

I normally reserve this for Americans, but... maybe it's time for a new constitution? Write it down this time?
