i was sitting here earlier thinking about starting a fediverse instance of some sort at like colorado.wtf or bouldercounty.social (or maybe at social.squiggle.city?) and then i realized that it would be a lot of work in exchange for which i would, if very successful, primarily reap people being angry at and/or disappointed in me, so maybe i won't.
