Protonwaffle is 12 characters.
It is better to have 7-9 characters for domain name for easy to remember, typing out and catch.
May be you've already dedicated this name .
@noorul What is a Protonwaffle?
oops. I meant Protowaffle
@freemo Tell Steve Jobs it's I phone now
@freemo @henksteenbroek Incorrect English, perhaps, but perfectly valid upper camel case, no?
Actually, that settles. I don't like camel case either. Voting "Protowaffle."
I like to imagine it has an exotic European pronunciation: pro-TO-waf-LAY.
Since Proto is a prefix not a word it would not be proper camel case either. PrototypeWaffle would be though.
@freemo @RomeoTBravo I phone
"I" is a word not a prefix, thus proper camel case unlike "Proto-" which is a latin prefix
@freemo @RomeoTBravo its PascalCase
@freemo @henksteenbroek Well.
If we're going to be pedantic, proto- derives from Greek πρωτος, not Latin.
Also the inimitable Wikipedia tells me Pascal case is another name for upper camel case.
Wait. What were we talking about? ;)
@henksteenbroek So can Protowaffle. For me ProtoWaffle is jarring and uncomfortable aesthetically, and incorrect english technically which may make it even more abrasive for me personally. But, I'm not sure if I am representative of the general public either.
