@ianmacd You know we have an ample word limit, any reason you chose to split up your message into 10 parts? I'm just curious.
@freemo Yes, I did use Moa, but for whichever reason, it didn't work in the direction of Twitter; from which I drew the illogical and clearly wrong conclusion that it wouldn't work in the other direction, either.
Very cool that toots of arbitrary length are simply handled as one would hope across the Fediverse.
@ianmacd You have to explicitly set it to split up your messages as I recall. Just go into the settings and set it up and youll be good :)
@ianmacd it works seamlessly with all instances as far as I know. I have verified this to be true on most major flavors. So that is handled just fine.
Twitter cross posting is a bit special so yea you do need a cross poster that is aware enough to split up the messages (and moa party does that).
