#waterfallwednesday is a thing?! Cool! Enjoying all the photos in this tag! Here's a few. One from Shenandoah National Park, another two from the White Mountains in NH. Taken during our summer road trips where we hike excessively.
@Pdiag23 You are correct! We spend a lot of our summertime hauling our small camper around and hiking as much as we can. Really hard to beat it. Next summer is Banff. Can't wait!
@idropyou Now I'm super jealous! Banff will be amazing, no doubt. I'll likely head back to the PNW next summer to some locations I've yet to visit. I can work on the go which makes it nice for travel, at least in short spurts.
@Pdiag23 PNW has so much. I'm trying to find a way to spend a week MTB'ing at Oakridge, OR with my son next year too. Maybe right when his school year ends.
@idropyou I love OR. My daughter is in law school at UO so I was there three times this year for some epic hiking in the Cascades and coast. I’m in the Midwest but could easily relocate to the PNW.
@Pdiag23 We're in WI and nearly moved out there a decade ago; but then our dream home showed up on the market and we planted ourselves here for good. We're not ruling out having a condo on the coast when we retire!
@idropyou My thoughts exactly. Our work is portable/online so we have the flexibility although the largest portion of family is here in Indianapolis and Northern Indiana. Perhaps a condo here and also one on the coast would be a nice compromise down the road.
@idropyou There is no such thing as excessive hiking! 😂
