So in The Simpsons S14:E12, where Lisa is on a spelling bee and Homer follows the Ribwich on tour, there is a section where the school are sitting in the hall and Bart announces that the first day back is wank and Skinner claims that "in that case we're all wanking".
I'm assuming that Americans didn't know what that meant 😳 and that the section was cut from UK programming 🤣

@jellycrystals I seem to remember a Buffy episode where they used that word and apparently the writers thought it was a general cuss. Anthony Head (in)famously kept zipped about it.
