Fucksake YouTube. 57s unskippable ad, 4s of content, 57s unskippable ad (and the 4s was repeating the end of the bit I saw yesterday, so not even new to me)
That's the last time I'll use the official app. FreeTube, NewPipe etc only from now on
@ryfish I stopped using the YouTube app a long time ago. You give up so much control if you use apps like YouTube.
@YurkshireLad I've added SmartTube on my TV and blimey, not only does it not show ads but it also skips other unnecessary bits and has a much better interface

@ryfish @YurkshireLad How do I put it on my TV? That being said, I am currently paying for YT via a convoluted process with VPN and such so it is about 2 AUD a month...
