What's your favorite general science fact? Mine is that cherry and almond flavors originate from the same molecule primarily, benzaldehyde, and concentration effects which flavor is tasted in foods. 🧪🥽

@stemfactually On a similar track, caraway seeds and spearmint will smell the same to some people due the chiral flavour compound. I do a "blind sniff test" every year with my students. This year was the first year no one in the class smelled them as identical.
