📝 It is annoying that one has to consider whether one’s writing style and use of certain punctuation like the em-dash will make it seem like it was authored by an AI tool. In some situations I might care more, but I’m leaning towards not GAF. 😛

@jezlyn I have had conversations with some eloquent students about their use of em-dashes in AI scanning software for assignments. "Ms, I will never give up my em-dashes."

Tangentially I feel the same about using the sparkle emoji that’s been co-opted by AI services. Sometimes it’s the only emoji I feel is appropriate! ✨
