Because putting in space huge behemots that require a lot of energy, plenty of water, and changing nVidia chips all the time is something that somewhat can work. In spite of being in the worst possible place to get energy, refrigeration or make repairs.

Unless nVidia manufactures chips that barely heat, barely require energy, and never fail, this scheme is a total scam. A way to get money from investors, knowing it is not going anyware.

If it worked for the Metaverse, maybe it works for this nonsense too.
