"Oh, you want us to clean up your mess?" Look, I'm sure that appeasing the guy who just throws around threats to end civilizations will work out for the rest of the world in the long run and not affect anyone else, surely.
"What are other countries supposed to do?" I don't know, man. Maybe stop letting the U.S. use your military bases to launch strikes on Iran to start? Expel some diplomats? Cut off trade with us? Idk.
Boycott the World Cup? Restrict American travel to your countries? Economic de-dollarization? Diplomatic isolation?

Remember: Olympic games went ahead with Hitler as host. And the World Cup is bigger for many countries than the Olympic games.
Everything else: if you made a mess of your home, don't ask your neighbors to come and fix it. We have enough with the rats and the stink you are sending us. And you haven't done really anything meaningful against him during his first 5 YEARS of presidency. You elected him, it is your work to clean the house. Enough that he is putting his friends in our governments, by war, money or whatever, and pillaging our economies. And you are still doing barely nothing to solve the problem. Protests are nice, but only go so far. Really, you are asking us to do more than you are doing. You haven't even organized a general strike, and you are asking us to cut trade with you? Seriously? Do you have any idea of how much would we lose by doing that?
We have been nearly a year in shock about what you did (electing HIM again? SERIOUSLY?), and learning how to cope with it. We are starting to put him limits (Forbid military bases use to attack Iran? Call bullshit of his tariff threats? Done), but most of the measures you mention hurt ourselves the same or more than they hurt the US, directly or indirectly. The ties that bind us are too deep.
Do you want a divorce? You can bet we are talking with our lawyers. But we are not Trump, we do think before act, and try not to fire upon our own feet. Most of people around here feels betrayed by the US, and wants to remove any kind of military or digital dependence on the us ASAP. So even if you manage to get rid of that clown and put a sane person in his throne, don't expect us to forget this. We are very US-aholic, but we know we have to learn to live without it. You are not people we can depend on.
So please stop adding insult to the injury. We are sad and angry enough already.
