Some quick #Mastodon tips for the #TwitterMigration crew.
1. To DM someone click on the 🌎icon when you bring up the message editor. You also have other options like sending messages to only your followers.
2. Toots = Tweets
3. Boost = Retweet
4. Birdsite = Twitter
5. There is no Quote Toot with comment. This is by design. Mastodon is much less stressful IMO than the birdsite.
Some questions:
- are there lists?
- are there bookmarks?
- aguas trying to see who some colleagues follow (to more quickly find the people that I want to follow). But it doesn't seem to work?

NOTE: some features are not yet available in the Mastodon Apps because the devs had to rush them out when Elon bought the birdsite. You will find more options if you login via a web browser.
* Are there lists? Yes, but they are private for your own use. * Are there bookmarks? Yes * I can’t see who others are following. This is by design. Mastodon encourages users to engage socially first and grow organically. This is why lists are private too.
