Maybe I should just go back to C++.
I don't care for web dev, I don't care for any of the backend web dev languages except for maybe Go.
I don't care for Rust for various reasons.
I'd do C, but I think C jobs are few and far between. Mind you; I'd way rather write C than C++.

C is still the most common language in embedded systems. Do you find yourself wanting to learn about electronics?
