You could try librewolf. There are tons of browsers that are designed as Firefox, just with the shady stuff ripped out.
It is like how, since Linux includes proprietary blobs, so there are many distros that simply remove these things in their own version.
@jmw150 Right. Might give it another go. I did at one point. Can't recall what i did not like. Since they are still based directly on FF tho IDK...Might give epiphany a go
