@Moon Really? What about Suzumiya Haruhi, xxxHolic, Shinigami no Ballad, Yume Tsukai, Binbou Shimai Monogatari, Honey and Clover (although the second season is a piece of shit), Ghost Hunt or The Third (the animation quality was very irregular, but the story and soundtrack were great)?
Some people (not me) also enjoyed Nana, Simoun and Death Note. Pumpkin Scissors had potential, but the animation was crap. Then there were literal shitshows, like Otoboku, Kashimashi and Strawberry Panic. But Binchou-tan was cute.
