@cwdolunt You can't expect a good movie from someone who launched his career by betraying Orson Welles. (And, yes, I'm familiar with Robert Wise's filmography and accolades. He still just a sellout in my book.)
_The Wrath of Khan_ is much better, because you can always expect good movies from someone who went on to direct _The Day After_.
