@cwdolunt I don't know. Maybe Orson didn't hold any grudges against Wise, or maybe he needed the money to complete _The Other Side of the Wind_.or any of his other unfinished projects.
In all the interviews I've read, he blames the studio more than Robert Wise himself, though. Actually, he's more critical of cinematographer Stanley Cortez. Wise is barely mentioned, if at all.
