@vaartis As a mostly reply guy, I've been experiencing for a while more and more cases of people not even acknowledging my posts, but I attribute them to a) the other person being rude (that would be the case of the Godot maintainer), and/or b) most threads getting unmanageably large due to the influx of new users.
There could also be a c) option, namely, a change in the culture (i.e., people coming from Twitter not feeling the need to acknowledge most mentions).
@vaartis After conducting a very thorough investigation (which mostly consisted on looking at the posts in his profile for a couple of minutes), I'm doubling down on my previous opinion: he's just a self-important asshole.
But don't (ever) take my word for it. Whenever you want to know whether your posts reached someone or not, ask me to insult them and then quote post the insults mentioning them and saying something like: “Look what this horrible person said! I'm gonna block him and you should do the same! He's probably dangerous!” If after a day or two I'm blocked, that means he got it.
@vaartis You can try a safer, but less scientific approach, then: use his work hashtag. I won't mention it here, but you can read it in almost everything the dude reposts. He clearly follows it.
And thanks for the kind words. If I ever turn to the dark side, I'll change my pfp to Ms. Endive or something so you can be warned.
