@mangeurdenuage Why do you do that to yourself? Actually that's a rhetorical question, I already know. What I really want to ask is: you know there are other, healthier ways to achieve the same goal, right?

@josemanuel
>healthier ways to achieve the same goal, right?
If there another way where you can loose 1%to3% of loose skin per month I'm all ears
Follow

@mangeurdenuage Why are you in a hurry? Just eat less (not nothing at all, just less), do some exercise (running around is free, even walking is effective), go vegetarian for a while (you mentioned the cost of meat as an issue in your other post).

I hope I'm not coming out as rude by giving advice with hardly any knowledge of your situation. Not my intention at all.

By the way, I remember watching years ago a British medical TV programme where sometimes they had people who had lost a lot of weight and were left with the skin of their bellies hanging. The doctors said that the only solution was a surgery to cut off the excess. The only issue was that it left a scar, if I remember correctly. Have you spoken to your doctor about the issue? Maybe they have a better solution.

@josemanuel
>Why are you in a hurry?
It's not especially about going fastest possible, in this case it about enabling further autophagy, also because of money.

>go vegetarian for a while
I'm already on keto.

>I hope I’m not coming out as rude by giving advice
Np :hug: I welcome advices :hug:

>The doctors said that the only solution was a surgery to cut off the excess
Yeah the doctors say a lot of stuff, surgery is it's the most radical, fast and medically costly method there is, otherwise it's years and years of patience and work. Genetic plays an important role in this too tho, idk if I'm part of that group, I'll see with time.

>The only issue was that it left a scar
Can be solved with dermarolling.
But that isn't the main issue, if you take time to read/search you'll find out that there are more long term complications that can happen, such as permanent pain/medication and many other discomforts, it doesn't do it to all people tho so I suppose it's a matter of how the surgery is done.

>Have you spoken to your doctor about the issue? Maybe they have a better solution.
With my old doctor yes, there isn't much solutions outside of either surgery or accumulating diverse habits that will help over time.
Here's a non exhaustive list so far from my research:
-Sport
-Fasting (start Autophagy)
-Collagen supplementation
-Dermarolling
-Vitamin C ointment
-Ellagic acid (found in berries)
-Caffeic acid (found in garlic)
-Skin moisturizing
-Green Tea/Matcha (in between meals) with or without ginger.

@mangeurdenuage I see you have it all figured out. I still would recommend you not to fast, ot at least not for such extended periods of time. Either way, I hope you make it.
