@noyoushutthefuckupdad @josemanuel I feel like sapiosexuality is not real in the way it's described there or in the way many people think about it.

However I can find the body and face of a woman very attractive but if she seems dumb when she speaks then I'm turned off.

On the other hand a woman that looks average physically but is very smart can make me very attracted to her.

Of course ideally she would be very attractive physically and also a genius, but if I knew such a woman I wouldn't be here talking to people on the internet, I would be doing whatever it takes to make her my wife.

Ignorance is not a turnoff but stupidity is.

Also knowing facts is not a turn on but ability to reason is.

@ergo @josemanuel @noyoushutthefuckupdad it's probably "real", there's probably actually some people like that, but like everything else like it it's either greatly exaggerated, or taken a an empty virtue to put on your social media profile, because again, you're not allowed to say otherwise

@coolboymew Exactly, hence my tongue-in-cheek reply to @noyoushutthefuckupdad, but what @ergo said is also true. A lot of people are attracted to intelligence and turned off by stupidity, just not exclusively. Most times, though, both are measured in relative terms.
