@Geefeconomie@mastodon.green well, since you ask, I’m here for those random connections that improve your intellectual and spiritual life, I guess. Great things came of a 12-year presence on the 🐦 site for voluntary work in depression awareness and suicide prevention. I met a whole raft of lovely committed people along the way whose families had been affected in some way. I made probably my best film, with an actual cast and crew. Since then, I’m normally both. These days I have less time on my hands due to striving for excellence in my job, but the ethos of the qoto instance attracted me as although I tech others I ALWAYS learn from them too. I have a couple of ideas on the back boiler that may come to fruition through networking with like minded people. One is to help homeless people learn to code and the other is a wearable to detect dangerous mood swings before they occur. I had an informal first offer of VC funding for the second one, but the by the pandemic hit and my investors boards were exposed. Oh and I wrote a book in lockdown. And it’s teatime so I haven’t proofed this post. Blessings on all who read it. 🙏😎
