Something great about my mom is that, to this day, she always* will listen when I have a new fun fact to share and I don't think I encountered anyone as a child who gave me that much attention
*in meatspace at least

Also this reminds me of a few times I've seen one parent with one young kid on the train in NYC, and instead of the kid being occupied by youtube algo slop and the parent doomscrolling, they're having a non-stop conversation about everything they're seeing or recently saw.
