• Running illegal copies or forks of the software

• Using the words Mastodon®, Toot®, Elephant® without a Eugene license or active MastoGold™ subscription

• Using the word Mastodon® in your domain without a Eugene license or active MastoGold™ subscription

• Federating with any verified instances without a Eugene license or active MastoGold™ subscription

• NOT using the word Mastodon® in your name when running a Mastodon™ instance

Repeat violations are subject to legal action and incarceration for up to 6 months.
