I had heard Andor was good, that the first couple episodes would seem slow, that you should watch it 3 episodes at a time, etc. I waited until the whole thing was available and then watched it over a couple nights with my spouse a couple weeks ago. I’ve now watched it two more times through just in the past week, and I’m now listening to https://music.apple.com/us/album/andor-vol-3-episodes-9-12-original-score/1658398472 on the HomePods. I am so in.
@lorihc it's a beauty of a series that one, cant hardly wait for more
@lorihc I still remember a grade school party where we all huddled in someone’s living room and listened to that INTENTLY. 😬
@lorihc It was just so unexpectedly great!
@jamesthomson @lorihc added to my watch list!
@jamesthomson Agreed!
@lorihc I'm about halfway through it currently. Mistakenly started (and quickly stopped) watching first episode with the kiddos after clearly doing no pre-reading at all. Came back later alone on the recommendation of my brother and have really been enjoying it.
@forestahill It’d be over the heads of most kids. I love all the political and corporate intrigue.
@lorihc it's really really good. But it's too boring and too violent for the 9-year-old
@forestahill yeah, it’s for you, not for the kids. :-)
@lorihc I could go on and on about this series. It is sooooo good.
@moseley yes!
@lorihc I liked Rogue One when it debuted, and rewatched it immediately after Andor… looking forward very much to season 2!
@juandesant me too! In the meantime I’m listening to the three soundtracks while I work.
This reminds me of when I listened to The Story of Star Wars, an abridged version of A New Hope, on vinyl as a kid while flipping through my Star Wars trading cards, arranged in the order the scenes appeared in the movie. (Yes I am GenX and remember a time before the VCR, much less streaming. I also remember getting A New Hope on videotape for Christmas, when it cost $80. I still have it.)
