So for squishy i decided to make the PHY frontend exchangeable, meaning that the connector, termination, and the needed transceiver machinery are going to be on daughter cards.

This increases the flexibility of of the platform and decreases the complexity of the frontend

this comes with the disadvantage that now it's not a purely self-contained unit anymore, however the advantage is that the most expensive part should be more reliable, and it adds the flexibility if it to talk other protocols in the future, or have more advance frontends
