what about experimenting with QI surfaces?

In one of my fantasies, I own a cyberpunkish bar with interactive screens inlaid under thick transparent counters that also charge customers phones when they put them down.

of coarse, there's a lot of engineering that has to get figured out- but I haven't had the time to fiddle with such fancies that will never come to be anyway.
