Parenting rant

Kids have been psycho since we got home from the mall, five hours ago. Matthew insists he didn't give them any sugar, they're just being naturally chaotic. Matthew went to bed an hour early, so I'm stuck alone suffering through another hour still until it's finally late enough to put them to bed.

They also have a massive amount of legos (collected over the years) yet they will both constantly fight over the same five or six. Right now they're fixated on a long thin red pole piece. That's it. One Lego, out of hundreds, that they won't stop stealing back and forth from each other.

I'm so tired. When will they ever stop being this wild? Oh haha I just remembered, never. This will be my life, for the rest of my life.

<< Anxiety? Sleep reversion? Could be a handful of things.

<< Sounds like typical siblings. A third would take them all regardless of fair share.

<< Adults do it all the time. You're just at an advantage with the current time point.

<< At least it's someone you love and not someone you work with.
