Taking even a peek back into Twitter makes me realize how glad I am to be gone. I just feel awful after going there. It's as if you're not posting about something terrible, or something meant to make others feel terrible, you're not doing it right. Leaving there and coming back here is like coming home to a cozy couch after working a double shift at a customer service desk at a busy Target or something.

I always knew the platform was toxic, but now that I can contrast it with a healthier environment, that fact is so glaringly and loudly obvious.

Still miss some of the cool people who stayed behind on Elon's Folly, though.

@dragoncrown @montecook I always figured that since I exclusively used latest tweets, I had insulated myself from the algorithm. I was wrong, because I was interacting with people who were interacting with the algorithm. Everyone being on the same page makes a huge difference.
