I'm not posting this because I'm some AI imagery expert or video editing genius. It's that I'm very much NOT. The ease with which images of things that haven't happened can be generated, and then strung together in a way that can be convincing, or carry emotional impact, is extremely concerning. ...

Remember how last election cycle was full of bots fronting memes, and fake articles supposedly from news sites? Expect this election cycle to be one in which people are throwing realistic videos, many of them containing unspeakable images, so thickly that the impact of actual news will be like trying to pick one flake out of a blizzard.
