Remains to be confirmed, and benchmarks like geekbench don't match reality in any number of ways. But seems less certain that this is only marketing spin, now...

I agree that Apple should focus their marketing on laptops with comparable power consumption. If they do that I think their M1 processor will be very competitive indeed.
Also I think the #Pinebook (Pro) was there first and the MacBook is just a me to product 😜
